What is ClearanceJobs Premium?
ClearanceJobs Premium is a paid monthly subscription for security cleared job seekers that unlocks advanced visibility, insights, and tools to give them an edge in the search for their next cleared career opportunity.

Who is Premium for?
Active or passive, security‑cleared professionals who want more visibility and tools to manage interest from employers and recruiters.

How is Premium different from a free ClearanceJobs profile?
Upgrading to Premium unlocks a host of features that can help you stand out in a crowded job market, better understand the competition, and learn what skills can give you an edge.

Does Premium guarantee interviews or job offers?
No. Premium increases visibility and provides tools; outcomes depend on employer needs and your qualifications.

Is ClearanceJobs Premium available on mobile?
Not yet. Premium Candidate Experience features are not currently available in our native iOS or Android apps. We do plan to bring Premium features to the mobile app in the future.

How do employers see Premium candidates?
Premium profiles appear to employers with a special badge, and also get a boost in search results compared to non-Premium profiles. Additionally, employers will be able to filter their search results for premium candidates.

GETTING STARTED & ELIGIBILITY

How do I upgrade to Premium?
There are a number of different places in ClearanceJobs that will prompt you to upgrade to premium. Follow any of the links that you see, or go to your profile dropdown after you've logged in, select 'Join Premium' and start your 7-day free trial.

Does Premium only become available if I have a certain level of clearance?
No, Premium is available to all ClearanceJobs candidates who hold an active security clearance or who have worked a job that required security clearance in the last two years.

BILLING, TRIALS, & REFUNDS

Do you offer a free trial?
Yes. We offer a seven day free trial for candidates to try out ClearanceJobs Premium. Signing up for the trial requires entering in a credit card. We’ll send a reminder when the seven day trial is about to expire/before your credit card is charged for the first month.

Can I cancel anytime? What happens after I cancel?
Yes, you can cancel any time. Access to Premium continues until the end of your current billing period.

Do you offer refunds?
No, we do not offer refunds. Please see terms and conditions here.

How do you securely process my credit card information?
We utilize Stripe as our third party payment provider. ClearanceJobs does not store your credit card information.

How do I update payment methods and mailing/billing info?
Payment methods and billing info are managed through Stripe.

DATA, PRIVACY, & SAFETY

Will Premium expose more of my profile on ClearanceJobs?
No, visibility is controlled by your settings. Premium candidate experience expands access to tools and insights, not public exposure by default.

Do you use my data to train your AI models?
No, ClearanceJobs does not use your data to train proprietary models at this time.
