Premium Candidates: FAQs
What is ClearanceJobs Premium for candidates and how it impacts the ClearanceJobs experience for employers.
WHAT IS CLEARANCEJOBS PREMIUM?
ClearanceJobs Premium is a paid service that job seekers may subscribe to on a monthly basis to gain extra tools and insights that aid in their search, launching in 2026.
ClearanceJobs Premium will benefit employers as Premium candidates are more likely to be active, responsive, and highly motivated in their job search.
AS AN EMPLOYER, WHAT CHANGES CAN I EXPECT?
Clearer Signals in Search:
Premium candidates will appear with a Premium badge throughout ClearanceJobs and gold-borders in search results. They’ll also show up higher in search results, as long as they are still relevant to the search.
Premium Candidate Filter:
Employers can apply a new filter to view only Premium candidates in search results.
Better-Fit Applications:
Premium insights help candidates understand how well they match a job before applying – including where they may not be a good match. Employers may see fewer low-fit applications as a result.
More Candidate Follow-Up:
Premium candidates can see which employers have viewed their profile and may initiate conversations directly. Non-Premium candidates do not see employer views, requiring employers to start more conversations with them. Employers, however, can view all candidates, Premium or not, who have seen their profile. New Identify Verification Signal:
Identity verification is the process of confirming that a person is who they claim to be using authoritative data sources.
Premium candidates have access to undergo the Identity Verification process using Plaid. If Plaid successfully validates their government issued ID, the candidate gains a Verified badge on their profile that is visible to employers.
Hidden Profiles:
Premium candidates may choose to hide their profiles from specific employers.
