JOB PERMISSIONS UPDATE
We’ve changed the “Can Launch Jobs” permission rule. This change will enable users to better manage job postings and views of applications across the organization.
With this permission on:
- Any user with the permission can now post jobs, edit ANY jobs, archive ANY applications for jobs, and inactive ANY jobs.
- All users will this permission will now receive the Job Application email sent for unread ClearanceJobs ATS applies
- Any user with the “Can Post Jobs” permission who views a job application, the system will now treat the application as “read”.
How is this different? Previously, only the original poster of the job could modify, read applications, and inactivate jobs.
Without this permission, the user can only view jobs posted by others. Application views will not be marked as “read”, and they will not receive application emails or archive applications.
